The limits of what this website and its tools do, stated plainly.
1. General information only
Everything on this website is general information. It does not take account of your organisation's objectives, obligations, circumstances or risk position, and it is not advice. Nothing here creates an adviser and client relationship. Do not act on anything on this site without obtaining advice appropriate to your situation.
2. Not legal, financial or regulatory advice
4T Advisory does not provide legal advice or financial product advice. Nothing on this site is a legal opinion, a determination of whether you comply with any obligation, or a representation about how a regulator will view your arrangements. Where regulatory obligations are described, that description is for orientation. The obligation is what the instrument says, not what we say about it.
3. Benchmarked against intent, not a guarantee of compliance
Our advisory, assessment, audit and training services are benchmarked against the intent of the standards and regulations referenced. They are not a compliance guarantee, an attestation, an accreditation or a certification, and they do not make any organisation compliant with anything.
4T Advisory is not a certification body and is not accredited to certify against any ISO standard. Certification against ISO standards is issued only by accredited certification bodies. Our training courses are not endorsed by ISO and confer no certification.
4. The self-assessment tools
The CPS 230 readiness check and the EU AI Act risk-tier classifier are indicative orientation tools. They run in your browser, ask a small number of questions, and cannot see your organisation. A result from either tool is not an assessment, not a gap analysis, not a legal classification under the EU AI Act, and must not be relied on for any regulatory purpose or presented to any regulator, board or auditor as evidence of position.
5. The Ask 4T assistant
The assistant is currently switched off on this site. This section governs it whenever it is switched on. Ask 4T is an automated assistant driven by a language model. It can be wrong. It does not speak for 4T Advisory, it does not give advice, and it does not make regulatory determinations. Nothing it says is a representation, warranty or commitment by 4T Advisory, and no engagement, quotation or contractual term can be created through it. If something it says matters to you, confirm it with us directly in writing.
6. The Live Monitors
The Live Monitors page reproduces items published by third parties, including regulators, standards bodies, the United States National Institute of Standards and Technology, and technology vendors. Those items are the words of the publisher, shown with attribution and a link to the source. 4T Advisory does not write, summarise, rate or interpret them, and no artificial intelligence writes or rates anything shown there.
Two mechanical changes are made so the text can be displayed safely and legibly, and we state them rather than claim an unqualified "verbatim" reproduction: HTML markup is stripped from titles and whitespace is normalised, and where a publisher supplies an identifier and a long description separately, such as the National Vulnerability Database, a long description is truncated and marked with an ellipsis. Where a publisher supplies no date we say so rather than inventing one. No wording is otherwise altered, and nothing is added.
Severity ratings shown on the security board are the ratings published by NIST in the National Vulnerability Database. They are NIST's assessment, not ours.
The boards are automated aggregation of publicly available feeds. They are not exhaustive, may be delayed, may be incomplete, and are not a substitute for monitoring the original sources directly or for your own regulatory change management. Where a source cannot be reached we say so rather than displaying stale or substituted content. All content and trade marks shown belong to the publisher that issued them.
7. Professional background
Career history and prior employers described on this site are stated as professional background only. Their inclusion does not imply that any past employer or organisation is a client of 4T Advisory, has engaged 4T Advisory, or endorses it. 4T Advisory does not disclose confidential information belonging to any previous employer or client.
8. Third-party links
This site links to external websites, including regulators and publishers. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or availability. A link is not an endorsement.
9. Accuracy and availability
We take care to keep this site accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is free from error or omission, or that it will be available uninterrupted. Regulatory material changes, and a page that was correct when written may not be correct when read. Content may be changed or withdrawn at any time without notice.
10. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, 4T Advisory excludes liability for any loss or damage arising from reliance on anything on this website, including from the self-assessment tools, the Ask 4T assistant and the Live Monitors. Nothing in this disclaimer excludes or limits any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law.

This disclaimer is governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
